InOut Games’ sequel: a hen crosses a highway lane by lane, four levels from 30 to 18 lanes, and a cash-out decision before every step.
Chicken Road 2 — listed by its studio as Chicken Road 2.0 — is the sequel to InOut Games’ hit casino mini game, released on 15 April 2025. A hen has to cross a busy highway one lane at a time. Every lane she survives raises your multiplier, you can cash out after any lane, and if a car gets her first, the stake is lost. There are four difficulty levels, from Easy (30 lanes, up to 23.24×) to Hardcore (18 lanes, up to 3,608,855.25×), and InOut Games publishes an RTP of 95.5%.
This guide covers how a round works, every level’s multipliers straight from InOut Games’ own demo, what those multipliers say about your real odds, how the sequel differs from the original, and the “real or fake” question that comes up around the name.

| Studio | InOut Games |
| Official name | Chicken Road 2.0 |
| Released | 15 April 2025 |
| Type | Step-by-step cash-out game, single player |
| Levels | Easy (30 lanes), Medium (25), Hard (22), Hardcore (18) |
| Top multipliers | 23.24× / 2,457× / 62,162.09× / 3,608,855.25× |
| Maximum win | $20,000 per round in the provider’s demo |
| RTP | 95.5% (InOut Games) |
| Original game | Chicken Road (April 2024, 98% RTP) |
There are no reels or bonus rounds. The only decision is the one you make before every lane: take the money or take one more step. Reaching the far side of the highway pays the level’s top multiplier.
These multipliers come straight from the configuration InOut Games’ own demo loads. The code calls the top level “Daredevil”; the game screen calls it Hardcore.
| Level | Lanes | Lane 1 | Lane 5 | Lane 10 | Final lane |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Easy | 30 | 1.01× | 1.15× | 1.42× | 23.24× |
| Medium | 25 | 1.08× | 1.78× | 3.85× | 2,457× |
| Hard | 22 | 1.18× | 2.95× | 12.52× | 62,162.09× |
| Hardcore | 18 | 1.44× | 9.09× | 185.08× | 3,608,855.25× |
Easy creeps up a few per cent a lane and needs 17 lanes just to double the stake. Hardcore starts at 1.44× on the first lane and is past 185× by the tenth. The numbers look wildly different, but the odds behind them are much closer than they look.
InOut Games publishes one return figure: 95.5%. If every cash-out point pays back that same 95.5%, the chance of surviving long enough to collect a multiplier m is 0.955 ÷ m. That puts reaching 2× at a little under a 50% chance, 10× at under 10%, and 100× at about 1%, on any level.

What the level really changes is how many lanes it takes:
| Level | Survive lane 1 | First lane worth 2×+ | Chance | First lane worth 10×+ | Chance |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Easy | 95% | Lane 17 (2.12×) | 45% | Lane 29 (12.08×) | 7.9% |
| Medium | 88% | Lane 6 (2.05×) | 47% | Lane 15 (10.99×) | 8.7% |
| Hard | 81% | Lane 4 (2.31×) | 41% | Lane 10 (12.52×) | 7.6% |
| Hardcore | 66% | Lane 2 (2.21×) | 43% | Lane 6 (15.30×) | 6.2% |
None of this changes the 95.5% return: over a long run, every level and every cash-out point costs about 4.5% of what you stake. What changes is how bumpy the ride is.

The sequel has more lanes, bigger top multipliers and a higher win cap. The original returns more: at 98% it costs about $2 per $100 staked over a long run, against about $4.50 for Chicken Road 2.0. Both games are live in casino lobbies side by side, so check which tile you are opening. Our Chicken Road guide has the full tables for the original.

If you like the cash-out-or-carry-on idea, Aviator runs it against a rising curve, Mines on a grid of hidden tiles, and Plinko takes the decision away and lets the pegs decide. The original Chicken Road is the same game on a shorter road with a higher return.
Rounds take seconds and the choice to step again comes up every couple of seconds, which makes it easy to play far more rounds than planned. Decide your cash-out lane before the round starts rather than during it, set a deposit limit and a session time limit in your account first, and use the reality-check and time-out tools your casino provides. Free, confidential support is available at BeGambleAware.org. 18+ only.
