In the base game it is a straightforward line slot: set your stake, spin, and win by matching symbols from left to right along any of the 10 lines. The fish symbols carry cash values, and the free games are where those values get collected.

Free games and the fisherman

Three or more scatter symbols anywhere in view award up to 20 free games. During the round, the fisherman is the symbol to watch: whenever he lands in view, he catches every fish on the reels and pays the cash value on each fish’s tag, on top of any line wins. A spin with a fisherman and a screen full of fish is where the game’s big wins come from.

The gamble feature

After a winning spin, the original lets you gamble the win on a red/black card pick: guess the colour to double it, guess wrong and it is gone. It is optional, and you can always collect instead.
