Ice Fishing is a live game show from Evolution, launched on 6 August 2025 — the studio’s first speed game show. A host spins a 53-segment digital money wheel set on a frozen lake. Most segments are leaves that pay even money straight away; seven are fish that open one of three bonus rounds, where the host reels in a fish carrying a multiplier of up to 500×, and up to 5,000× once a wheel multiplier is added.

The Wheel and the Bets

The wheel has five bet spots. The two leaf spots are identical — 23 segments each — so you can back one or both. The three fish spots each send you to their own bonus round, and an All Bonuses button covers all three at once.

How a Round Works

1. Place your bets. Back Leaf 1, Leaf 2, any of the fish, or All Bonuses.
2. Multipliers drop. When betting closes, one random leaf segment may get a 3×, 4×, 5×, 7× or 10× multiplier, and all the segments of one fish type may get a multiplier from 2× to 10×.
3. The wheel spins. The flapper marks the winning segment.
4. Settlement. A leaf pays 1:1 on the matching leaf bet, times any multiplier on it. A fish sends its backers to that bonus round; everyone can watch, but only players who bet on that fish can win.

The Three Bonus Rounds

All three bonus rounds take place on the ice, among fish that each carry a multiplier. If the fish segment picked up a multiplier on the wheel, every fish multiplier is raised by it before the fishing starts. The host then slowly reels in the catch, and the final multiplier is revealed once the fish is out of the water.

• Lil’ Blues — the most frequent bonus, with fish from 3× to 100×.
• Big Oranges — half as frequent, 4× to 200×.
• Huge Reds — one segment on the wheel, 10× to 500×. A 500× fish on a Huge Reds segment carrying the top 10× wheel multiplier is where the 5,000× maximum comes from.

RTP and How Often Each Bet Pays

The leaves return the most at 97.10%; the bonus bets return between 95.17% and 95.69%. Dividing each bet’s RTP by its chance of landing gives the average it pays back each time it does land:

At a flat 1:1 a leaf would give back 86.79% of what is staked on it; the random leaf multipliers make up the other 10.31 points. The fish work the other way round: a Huge Reds bet loses 52 spins in 53 on average and has to earn everything back in the bonus round, which is why it pays around 50× the stake per catch on average. None of the bets is a winning one in the long run — the choice is about how often you want a result, not about value.
