Le Bandit is a cluster-pays slot on six reels and five rows, starring a raccoon thief called Smokey. Hacksaw rates its volatility 3 out of 5 and puts the top win at 10,000 times your bet. Three mechanics do the work:
The number of FS scatters that land together decides the round:
| Scatters | Bonus round | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| 3 | Luck of the Bandit | Golden Squares stay marked between spins until a Rainbow activates them |
| 4 | All That Glitters Is Gold | 12 free spins; Golden Squares stay marked for the whole round and can be activated again and again |
| 5 | Treasure at the End of the Rainbow | 12 free spins; squares stay marked and a Rainbow lands on every spin. It cannot be bought |
In the bonus rounds, two more scatters add 2 spins and three add 3. Landing four scatters during Luck of the Bandit upgrades you straight to All That Glitters Is Gold, with four extra spins.
Hacksaw has since released more than a dozen more “Le” games. Most keep the Golden Squares and Rainbow idea and change the mechanic around it. Where Hacksaw’s game page publishes the figures, they are shown here:
| Game | What is different | Max win | Top RTP |
|---|---|---|---|
| Le Bandit | The original: cascades, Golden Squares, three bonus rounds | 10,000x | 96.34% |
| Le Prechaun | Wilds leave x2 position multipliers that double each time they win again | 15,000x | 97.52% |
| Le Hooligan | Buckets collect the coins; 3, 4 or 5 scatters for 8 or 12 free spins | 10,000x | 96.34% |

A Western slot on five reels and five rows with 15 paylines, and the first Hacksaw game with DuelReels: a VS symbol expands into a wild reel on which two outlaws fight a duel, and the winner’s multiplier applies to every win through that reel. Volatility is 4 of 5 and the top win is 12,500x.
A punk-styled five-by-five slot rated 5 of 5 for volatility, the top of Hacksaw’s scale. Cranky Cat symbols multiply any win they are part of and multiply each other when they share a line; in the free spins, every multiplier that lands is stored above the reels. The top win is 10,000x.
A cartoon cat-and-mouse slot on five reels and five rows. The Wild Cat symbol can expand to cover a whole reel, and if it expands over a regular wild, that wild becomes a multiplier for the whole Wild Cat. The top win is 12,500x.
Hacksaw publishes several return-to-player versions of nearly every game, and each casino chooses which one it runs. Le Bandit, for example, exists at 96.34%, 94.23%, 92.17% and 88.36%. It is the same game with the same features; only the long-run return changes.

To see which version you are playing, open the game’s information or paytable screen, where the RTP is usually shown.
Many Hacksaw slots let you skip the wait for scatters. Bonus Buy takes you straight into a bonus round for a fixed price. BonusHunt FeatureSpins are spins at a higher stake with better odds of triggering a bonus; on Le Bandit they cost 3 times your bet and give 5 times the chance. Some rounds cannot be bought, such as Le Bandit’s Treasure at the End of the Rainbow. Whether you see these options depends on the casino and the country you play from.
Hacksaw lists around 50 scratchcards, including Stack’Em Scratch and Chaos Crew Scratch. Its instant-win range, branded Dare2Win, has 14 games, among them Plinko, Mines, Limbo, Dice and Hi-Lo, where you decide when to collect. For something closer to Aviator, Moneyplane is its crash game.
Every game page on hacksawgaming.com has a “Try it” button that opens a free demo, including Le Bandit and its sequels. A demo plays exactly like the real game, which makes it the easiest way to see how often the Rainbow lands and how the bonus rounds feel before you stake money. In Great Britain, licensed casinos have to verify your age before you can play, even in demo mode.
In Great Britain online slot stakes are capped by law: £5 per spin for players aged 25 and over and £2 per spin for 18 to 24 year olds. A British casino limits the bet range of every Hacksaw slot accordingly. Elsewhere, the limits depend on the country and the casino.
These operators reviewed here accept players from the UK and list Hacksaw among their game studios. Availability depends on where you live, so search the lobby for “Hacksaw” or “Le Bandit” to see which titles each one carries.
