Book of Dead and the Egyptian Slots
Rich Wilde and the Book of Dead
Released on 14 January 2016, Book of Dead follows the explorer Rich Wilde into Ancient Egypt. The game is built around one feature: three scatters award ten free spins, and before they start one ordinary symbol is picked at random to be a special expanding symbol. During the free spins it can grow to fill its whole reel whenever that adds a win, and it pays on any active line even if the reels showing it are not next to each other. Three more scatters during the free spins add another ten.
Legacy of Dead
Released on 2 January 2020, Legacy of Dead uses the same idea in a pharaoh’s tomb. Its Tomb symbol is both the scatter and the wild: three or more start the free spins, where a randomly chosen symbol expands across the reels. Tombs can land again during the free spins, so the round can keep extending, and Play’n GO puts the top win at 250,000 coins.
Cat Wilde and the Doom of Dead
A 2020 spin-off with expanding wilds that fill a whole reel, and a compass scatter on reels 1, 3 and 5 that awards ten free spins.
The Grid Slots
Play’n GO’s other big family replaces reels with a grid. Symbols that form a connected cluster pay, disappear and are replaced from above, and a meter or character charged by those wins sets off extra features.

Fire Joker and the Three-Reel Classics
Fire Joker (2016) is a three-reel slot with a Joker wild. If two reels show the same stacked symbol without a win, the third reel gets a free Respin of Fire. Fill every position with the same symbol and the Wheel of Multipliers can multiply the win by up to 10x. Fire Joker 100, released in May 2025, keeps the respin and raises the wheel to 100x.
